Is the anglage made by a Dremel hand made?

From what I've been told years ago about few famous independents who were outsourcing parts, tourbillon cages and so on, I've become extremely doubtful when I read those statements of 100% in house, hand made, etc. They hide being NDA 😎 P.S. here's the pl

Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport - an engineering tour de force

The Bugatti Super Sport was the second watch developed by Parmigiani pursuant to its partnership with Bugatti. The Super Sport was produced in small numbers from circa 2010 - 2015 and was inspired by the Bugatti Veryon seen here. All photos are from A Blo

For no reason at all . . . a few shots of the Toric Tourbillon (circa 2000)

The logo and cabachon at the 12 position. All screw heads, front and back, are polished. A lot of eye candy on the frontside with exquisite finishing on all surfaces including the black polished round tourbillon bridge. A subtle yet pleasing detail: red d

Time to rotate . . .

My neo-vintage Torics - aka "Club Platine" - are heading to the vault for a well earned rest. Left to right, Toric Chronograph, Toric Tourbillon, Toric Automatic. Straightforward names, don't you think? Thanks for looking. M4

Parmigiani Toric Tourbillon from circa 2000. I can't say enough good things about this watch. It's exceptional in every respect. Shown here on a "Midnight Sky" grained leather strap from A Collected Man. Have a wonderful day my friends. M4

All of the earliest Toric watches introduced in1998-1999 used out-sourced movements modified and finished by Parmigiani. These included the Toric Memory Time (Lemania movement), Automatique, Classic, Chronograph (El Primero movement), and Tourbillon (G-P

A true Toric dream team or dream trio!

Dial wise, I think my favorite is the Automatic. But movement wise, the tourbillon is wonderful. Of course, I could feel differently in real life and the appeal of the chronograph seems strong. A personal dream? What about the tourbillon on the back with

Getting reacquainted . . . .

Back from the lake and enjoying the watches I had left behind for the summer. This Toric Tourbillon. circa 2000, is a quintessentially refined watch. Truth be told, the watch is more refined than the wearer, by a long shot Have a terrific day! M4

Notice how small the Chopard 1.96 is...

Generally, what you're going to see is larger companies with A LOT OF MONEY and SCALE are going to go towards 28,800 VPH. This higher beat does cost a lot more money in R&D (but can save money in the short run), and it also costs a lot of power reserve! B
